A missing part of TotalGaming.Net

If there were good quality kids games (especially for the younger ones under 10) and educational stuff TotalGaming would have me subscribing for life.

There *is* a lot of bargain basement stuff that's great -- if it doesn't crash on newer hardware, OS revisions and changes in DirectX libs.

I wouldn't mind an alternative to the Disney stuff ...

Thanks for the suggestion. We're really aiming TotalGaming at the 21+ year old market, but you never know.

So far the only newer hardware that's been causing issues on some of the older TopWare games are AMD X2 CPUs, but there are workarounds for them.

I'd like to echo It would be nice to have a few educational type games there - a lot of adults will play them too if they are fun. My wife is a teacher and she plays the word puzzle type games on Yahoo all the time even though they are 'kids' games. There is a lot of junk in this field out there - be nice to see quality stuff on TGN - you would rock that market. (And Educatioanl stuff is maybe bigger than you realize, though not 'sexy'.) I bet you could find a good niche in a lot of school systems or parents strapped for cash who want a safe, quality product for their limited funds.

GC2 Jr could be nice!!!! No too complicated a more clean down to kid language (clean I mean less violent). Could be a nice addition to the family, have a kids league, etc.

I'd just like to clarify about "have me subscribing for life".

While my kids (6 and 3 years old, respectively) will play games until they grow out of them, I plan to grow more childish as I get older. So kids/educational games will continue their appeal and Totalgaming will continue to generate revenue off of me until I am labelled (too) mentally incompetent and a danger to everyone on the Net.

That is all -- please continue with your discussions.

I would love to see some puzzle lab games on TGN. I enjoyed their mossaic games. There was one just released not sure if it's from puzzle lab, but it had an egyptian theme to it. Also will you guys please get Oasis and/or Wix and the fable of souls.  I already own Wix from reflexive, but hopefully if enough people buy it they're make a sequel. Oasis was a very plesantly supprised game I played which was fun.  Two more choices from me then I'll stop... for now. A puzzle game that envolved you solving a murder, like clue but you needed to match who and what were in each room of the house.

Then there was another mystery game this one  had you scanning rooms for specfic items, mysteryville or something like that.

I'd like to have a gaming portal that remains different from the rest of them.

There are too many "different" match-3 and breakout clones already. Breakquest is cool though

Yeah I'll have to agree with that, if I see one more bejeweled or luxor clone I'm going to scream.

Jab - I think you're referring to Atlantis Quest.

Our intent is not to fill TotalGaming.net with a bunch of casual clones. If we opt to carry a similar style game, it'll be significantly different than something we already carry in one way or another.

I'd love to be able to use Tokens to pay for Window Blinds, Object Desktop and some of the other great Stardock software too. I'm enjoying my picks of the games, but have a few tokens left and waiting around for the next game I might be interested has me thinking I could put the tokens to better use on something like Window Blinds

On the games front though, I'd love to see TG.net establish a relationship with Popcap games. Zuma is a very addictive game, and is priced in the right neighborhood as well. Again, it would be a great game to be able to use a few tokens on

We already carry a similar game (Luxor) so we don't have any plans to carry Zuma. We do offer the ability to purchase some of our Desktop Gadgets with tokens: Natural Desktop, Aquarium Desktop and the Desktop Pet are all available for 1 token each (TGN homepage, top right).
